Biography
I graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Agriculture, otherwise known as Agriculture Education. I received my M.Ed degree in Counseling from University of North Texas. This is my 15th year in education, three of those years I spent working for The Texas Agricultural Extension Service as a 4-H and Youth Development County Extension Agent, six years as an Agriculture Science Teacher and this is my sixth year as a Counselor.
I am married to Arnie Barksdale and between us we have 3 children. Haylee is 14 and attends Lewisville ISD. Grant is 41/2 and Cambrie who is 21/2. My hobbies are helping with 4-H, spending time with my kids, working outside, playing the piano or reading.
