    The Decatur High School Golf Team was honored by the Board of Trustees on Thursday, May 16, 2013 for their achievements this year including a trip to the State Golf Tournament where they earned a fifth place finish.

  • Decatur ISD's 2013-2014 Calendar

    Here is the approved calendar for the 2013-2014 school year. The first day of school will be Monday, August 26. Teachers will return on Monday, August 19. The week of August 12th has been set aside for new teacher orientation. The Thanksgiving Holiday will begin with early release on Tuesday, November 26th. Christmas Holidays begin with an early release on Friday, December 20th. Spring Break is the week of March 10th. The last day of school is June 5, 2014.

Future Ready
We all want your children to be successful in whatever they choose to do.  The world is changing in how we communicate, think, and interact. This changes the way we teach and the way students learn.  The ability to work with others, use technology, and solve problems are important skills needed to learn digitally, think creatively, and compete globally.
