All students at Decatur ISD may charge a meal if the need arises.  The charge limit is the equivalent of 3 days of meals. If the student exceeds the limit, the alternative meal of cheese sandwich, fruit and milk will be offered.   Students must have money on their account or with them to purchase a la carte items.
Returned checks will be assessed a $15 processing fee. The amount of the returned check plus the $15 processing fee will be deducted from the meal account if the amount is not paid according to the policy of Child Nutrition.  The alternative meal will be given if this action causes a student account to fall below the allowable charge limit.
