Fax (940) 627-1479Leon Elsbecker, Director of TechnologyMr. Elsbecker serves the students and staff of Decatur ISD as Director of Technology after joining the district in July, 2021.Mr. Elsbecker began his career in 1994 as a teacher/coach in Jal, NM. He later joined the teaching staff at both Quinlan Ford and Aubrey ISDs in Texas. He taught for a total of 4 years before becoming the Technology Director at Little Elm ISD where he served in that capacity for 15 years. Mr. Elsbecker served as an Integration Systems Analyst at TWU for a year before moving to Sanger ISD as the Director of Technology, a position he held for the last seven years.He is currently a member of the North Texas Association of Technology Directors and Texas Computer Education Association. Mr. Elsbecker lives in Denton, Texas and is a proud father of 3 young men.
