Dr. Chad Jones

Dr. Jones graduated high school in Oklahoma and earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education at the University of Oklahoma in 1991. He would earn his master’s in educational leadership from East Central University in 2001 and his doctorate in the same from Sam Houston State University in 2016.

Dr. Jones has served as superintendent at three different schools in the past 12 years, including the last three at Sinton ISD, near Corpus Christi. He previously served as superintendent at Iola ISD and West Hardin County CISD. His educational career began as a biology teacher and basketball coach at public schools in Oklahoma from 1991 to 2004 when he was hired as a principal in the College Station school district. He would later also serve as high school principal at Rockdale ISD prior to being named to his first superintendent job at West Hardin County.
