• Welcome to DHS Hospitality & Culinary

    I am thrilled to be here at Decatur High School for the 2018-2019 school year. I started my Family and Consumer Sciences Career in Illinois after graduating from Northern Illinois University. I have been involved in a variety of food's programs including General food groups, International and American Regional foods, and Food Science. I am excited about growing the Culinary program here at Decatur High School. If you are interested in becoming more involved here at the High School, making new friends, making an impact in the community, and developing leadership skills, consider joining FCCLA! 

    I am a wife to Ben, mom to my 3 kiddos- Ellie (9), Porter (7), and Korben (2), and caretaker to our 2 furry friends- Winston and Conn Carlos (sometimes called Arlo or Buddy depending on the day ;)
