Small Donations Make Big Impact 🎉

The Decatur Education Foundation's Staff Partner signup period is now officially underway, running from now through August 23, and we would appreciate your support during this year's employee contribution campaign. DISD employees, as a group, are among our most significant financial supporters.

The Staff Partner program allows Decatur ISD teachers and staff who are passionate about DEF to support educational efforts with their giving. Participants receive special DISD swag to show off their school pride in exchange for a contribution to the DEF. The money raised is used to support teachers and staff in the district through grants for innovative teaching ideas and other initiatives.

Monthly contributions will be automatically deducted from the staff member's DISD paycheck and are available in deductions ranging from $5-$20.

View Your Current Giving Level

DISD employees can view their current giving level in Skyward by viewing their prior month's paycheck.

To view the amount you currently donate to DEF via the Staff Partners program:

  • Log into DISD's Skyward employee portal.

  • Navigate to the "Employee Information" tab.

  • Navigate to your must recent check information and use the expand arrow to view details. From there, expand the "Deductions" section.

  • Look for the code "DEF" and the description that reads "Education Fund." That row will show your monthly contribution.

  • You can also use the check number to open an expanded view that will show your current deductions.

Not a full-time employee?

Several DISD team members, such as substitutes, are unable to enroll due to their employment type. However, if you're such an individual, you can still give online to DEF.
