This is the 28th celebration of the Jack Harvey Awards.  Each year teachers from across the region are honored at this ceremony.  Decatur ISD is proud to be represented by Mrs. Hicks. Superintendent of Decatur ISD, Dr. Chad Jones, expressed his sincere appreciation for Katie's dedication and commitment to our students.  "Decatur ISD is a great place to learn and that is because of staff like Katie Hicks.  Katie is always looking for ways to make her classes interactive and meaningful for students.  I am honored to work alongside her."
