The DHS Swim team competed on Thursday in the 2023 UIL 4A State Swimming Championships at the Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio and the following individuals qualified for the Finals on Friday.
Brody McKeel in both the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke. Kenzi Hays in the 200 IM and 50 freestyle. Johnny Albaugh in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Eli Dollins in the 100 fly and 100 backstroke. Zoey Hall qualified in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. The boys 200 medley relay team (Brody McKeel, Eli Dollins, Johnny Albaugh, Logan Fultz) and 200 freestyle relay team (Brody McKeel, Eli Dollins, Johnny Albaugh, Logan Fultz) qualified for the finals. The girls 400 freestyle relay team (Zoey Hall, Kady Martinez, Kenzi Hays, Hannah Smith) qualified for the finals as well. DHS will look to hit the medal stand on Friday at 11am.
