New Transfer Student Enrollment Form

Families must apply to transfer students to Decatur ISD from another school district or to another school within DISD. Transfer applications will open once classroom and building availability is confirmed. Complete our online interest form to be notified when registration opens!

Find Your Family's Elementary Attendance Zone

Decatur ISD offers one high school, one middle school, and four elementary schools -- including a STEM campus that is available by application only. The elementary school campuses are divided into three different zones.

Use the map below, provided by the City of Decatur, to determine your student's elementary attendance zone. This map is best accessed from a desktop or laptop computer because of map file size. To use the map:

  1. View the Elementary Attendance Zone Map.

  2. When the map opens check "DISD Elementary School Attendance Zones" on the "Layers" menu.

  3. Enter your address (or the address you are checking the zone for) in the search bar at the top.

Bus Registration 

We've simplified our process for bus registration for the 2025-26 school year. Families who need to register students for bus services will do so using the enrollment forms in Skyward. Those forms will be automatically sent to the Transportation Department. The Transportation Department will then send email to parents.
