Community Engagement Committee
Charge: Developing pathways to enhance community and business partnerships and relationships.
Led by: Taylor Williams, Superintendent, and Monique Bird, Director of Strategic Communications and Engagement and Executive Director of the Decatur Education Foundation.
Staff Recruitment and Retention Committee
Charge: Developing systems for ensuring DISD teachers and staff are engaged and supported and ensuring DISD can retain top talent.
Led by: Taylor Williams, Superintendent, and Lyle Lackey, Assistant Superintendent of Human Capital.
Future-Ready Advisory Committee
Charge: Exploring ways to enhance the educational experience of students and ensuring students are well prepared for post-graduation careers, technical fields, and college or military pathways, while also meeting the needs of today's employers and labor trends.

Strategic Resource Management Committee
Charge: Exploring ways to best utilize, improve, grow, and maintain DISD resources, including funds and facilities.
Led by: Taylor Williams, Superintendent, Gary Micinski, Interim Chief Financial Officer, and Kyle Mazac, Executive Director of Maintenance and Operations.
Student Achievement Committee
Charge: Developing strong-performing students who are well-prepared for success in academics, athletics, fine arts, extracurriculars, and beyond.
