Every year, Decatur ISD parents and guardians have the opportunity to "opt-in" to receive circulation emails each time their child visits the library.

Initial setup can take up to 3 school days to go into effect. Parents and guardians who wish to opt-out can use the unsubscribe button at the bottom of every notification email.

Parents and guardians can view all books checked out to their children as well as indicate books they do not want their child to check out through a parent user account in the Destiny library catalog.

Library materials recommended for purchase will be posted for 30 days to provide students, parents, and community members an opportunity to review and comment on the materials prior to purchase. Comments must be submitted by completing the district’s form, which can be found at the link below. All comments received within the 30-day comment period will be reviewed and considered prior to finalizing the purchase. 

All ISBN formats (paperback, hardcover, ebook, audiobook, etc.) and languages (English, Spanish, etc.)will be applied for each individual title.
