Decatur ISD is ready to gather your input on the 2026–2027 Academic Calendar. Based on the feedback shared during our recent 4-day school week feedback opportunity, we worked to incorporate as many suggestions as possible and have developed two calendar options for you to review.

Important Reminder: Texas school districts are required to provide a minimum of 75,600 instructional minutes each year. Both options were designed to meet this legal requirement while also responding to the priorities and concerns we heard from staff and families.
