Focus Fridays at DHS:
Our Practicum PCT and CCMA classes at Weatherford College were able to visit with one of their professors in the nursing program. They got to assess patients that were experiencing respiratory and cardiac difficulties. They also got to experience the infant mannequin who was experiencing respiratory distress. They practiced starting IVs, using AED simulators and giving insulin injections.

Focus Fridays at DHS: Our instructional focus today included Seniors studying the Anglo-Saxon time period and completing a text analysis on different characters found in The Canterbury Tales. They created a life size drawing illustrating the character’s physical description along with the character’s personality traits. Nice work!! 👏🏻👏🏻🦅💙 #wearedecatur
Today the BBMB competed in the UIL Region 2 Marching contest. They received straight ones for their performance. This is the highest rating you can achieve. 👏🏻👏🏻🦅💙
