The Education Foundation's Grant Program is designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize, and reward innovative, creative, and effective instructional approaches that directly impact students while transforming classroom learning.

GRANT DEADLINE: The deadline to submit a grant is 4:00 pm April 29, 2022: Grant applications are due to Jennifer Terrell.
May 6 - Principals and directors will approve/deny grant submissions.
May 9 & 10 - Presentation for Grants and determine final grant awards. You can share your passion as well as offer any details to help your grant request come to life. This allows the board to ask questions and completely understand the meaning and use of the grant.
May 16 - Grant committee presents to the foundation board
August Convocation 2022: Grants awarded during Back to School Convocation.
Proposal category opportunities:
Individual Classroom Grant Proposals – maximum proposal allowed $ 3,000:
Professional staff members may submit an individual grant proposal for their classroom or program. Individual grant proposals must be approved by the campus principal, Director of Technology, Director of Maintenance, and Superintendent of Teaching and Learning.
Campus/District Team or Department Grant Proposals – maximum proposal allowed $ 5,000:
Campus/District Team or Department may submit a grant proposal. The proposal must be approved by the campus principal, Director of Technology, Director of Maintenance, and Superintendent of Teaching and Learning.
Program Grant Proposals – maximum proposal allowed $ 7,500:
A program grant proposal may be written to support a campus initiative that is part of a campus plan. Two or more campuses may submit a proposal that targets joint initiatives (e.g. robotics instruction at grades 5 and 6). A program grant proposal must be approved by the campus principal, Director of Technology, Director of Maintenance, and Superintendent of Teaching and Learning.
