New Student Enrollment

We would like to welcome you to Decatur ISD. One of the first steps to joining us is enrolling your child in our district. Below you will find information about the process and what is needed to complete your child's enrollment.

The process for enrolling a new student in Decatur ISD will begin in Skyward Family Access. 

PLEASE NOTE: NEW STUDENT ONLINE ENROLLMENT IS NOT OPTIMIZED FOR MOBILE PHONE USERS. Computers are available on each campus for Online Enrollment. 

Returning to Decatur from another district?

If you are returning to Decatur ISD from another district you will need to request a new account. You will receive an account within 48 hours. If you do not receive an email with account information, please check your junk/spam folder.

A parent/guardian's personal email account is required to complete the online enrollment process. If you do not have an email account you may visit the campus your child will be attending.

Already have a Family Access account?

If you already have a Family Access account and have a new student to register, New Student Online Registration is available as a tab on the lefthand side in your current Family Access account. 

Please log in to Family Access and on the righthand side select "Open Family Access." 

**Make sure you fully maximize the screen that will pop up. 

 

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

Parents must bring the following documents to the school in order to complete the enrollment process:

  1. Proof of residency in Decatur ISD

  • Current original utility bill (not a phone bill)

  • Lease or purchase documents stating your name and physical address

  • A notarized statement of residency (also available at registration)

  1. Parent / Guardian Photo ID / Driver's License

  2. Current student immunization records

  • CLICK HERE for Immunization Requirement information from the Texas Department of State Health Services

  1. Student birth certificate

  1. Student social security card

  2. Year-end report card and/or test scores from previous school

  3. Legal documentation (ex: custodial documentation) if applicable to the student
