There was no shortage of Halloween spirit at MMS this Costume Day! The mood this rainy Friday was upbeat, with many showing their excitement for the upcoming holiday. Many dressed in costumes, including Mr. Nunn and Mr. Keys who sported Miami Vice gear. 6th grade ELA teachers dressed as the Golden Girls, and our coaches imitated each other. There were lots of inflated costumes bobbing down our halls - from T-Rex to alien invaders to sumo wrestlers, there were many committed costume-wearers who kept their spirit all day long!
In addition to the excitement of costumes, our 8th grade science students carved pumpkins and built candy corn catapults. Teachers worked hard to include costumes and fall fun in their lessons and students were excited to show off their creativity.
