Mrs. Goins' 7th grade science students have been demonstrating the use of various bird beak adaptations this week. Students compared three types of beaks, determining how well each can pick up diverse pieces of food, how this affects the number of each species of bird in the next generation, and the success of each beak type. #MMScience

Coach Benjamin's 6th grade STEM elective students visited the STEM Academy to present simple machine prototypes using multiple levers. Both MMS and the Enis students were engaged in the vertical engineering aligned content.

It’s a beautiful day, but we’re keeping things “ugly” at McCarroll. We’ve had a fun week, capped off with Ugly Sweater Day, classroom celebrations, and even the assembly of a hallway masterpiece.
