Students from Rann Elementary's Leadership Academy attended the joint chamber luncheon today to hear Judge Clark's state of the county address. The academy was started with a grant from the Decatur Education Foundation and the Decatur Rotary sponsored the luncheon tickets.

Update:
On 10/17/23 bus route 6 was in an accident on 287 S. during the PM route. The bus was rear ended which caused it to be pushed into the vehicle ahead of the bus. Initially no injuries were reported. When emergency personnel arrived on the scene they decided to transport 16 students who complained of symptoms such as headache or soreness. Families were immediately notified and met at the hospital by DISD school personnel. Students without symptoms were transferred to another bus and taken home. As of 8:00pm all students were released from Wise Health.
