Tomorrow is a big day! Awards for the 1st Nine Weeks is first thing in the morning. Parents will be allowed in the building starting at 7:30. Thank you for allowing us to get all students in the building and settled first thing.

It is also Dyslexia Awareness Month. DISD will wear red in support! See you tomorrow!

🏆 We also celebrated our Perfect Attendance Drawing for the last 3 weeks! That means no absences, no tardies, and staying all day at school. Every grade level had a winner who got to spin the Wheel of Prizes 🎡🎁 — what a fun way to celebrate commitment and responsibility!

Tomorrow is the last day! The winning grade wins extra recess and popsicles. The winning school will be announced at the Homecoming game Friday night! Bring all the coins you have tomorrow!

Lastly, the PTO Spirit Table will be set up in front of the school tomorrow. It's a great opportunity to get some gear for the game!

The rain didn’t stop See You at the Pole! This student-led event was moved into the library, and we are so grateful for First Baptist Church for bringing donuts and supporting our students. It was a GREAT start to the morning!

The excitement of field day was electric! It was full of laughter, cheers, and nonstop energy as kids raced, played, and celebrated together. One of the best parts of Field Day was seeing our families and community come together to cheer on and celebrate with our students. It was a great day! Have a great weekend!

Monday is International Dot Day!
International Dot Day is celebrated every year on September 15th to encourage creativity, courage, and self-expression. Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot, it reminds students to “make their mark” and see where it takes them. Millions of classrooms worldwide join in through art, writing, and creative projects.

Grandfriends’ Night was a wonderful success! Our hearts were warmed by the joy of spending time with the people we love. From the smiles shared over bingo games to the conversations sparked at the book fair, this evening was filled with connection and fun. We hope it was truly a night to remember!
