We’re so proud of our very own Seeley Anderson, who was honored this morning as an American Heart Association "Survivor." ❤️ This year, we’re dedicating our Kids Heart Challenge to Seeley! Funds raised through the Kids Heart Challenge support life-saving research, helping kids like Seeley live longer, stronger, and healthier lives. Your generous support gives hope to families like Seeley’s, and for that, we are endlessly grateful. Let’s keep making a difference together!

Young Elementary’s Kids Heart Challenge program is quackin'! We can't wait for you and your student to learn some of these amazing heart-healthy habits and lifesaving skills! Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 for the American Heart Association and for all families to learn Hands-Only CPR! This year, Young’s Kids Heart Challenge is dedicated to our very own 1st grader, Seeley! Kids Heart Challenge funds research that helps kids, like Seeley, have longer & stronger lives. Decatur ISD's school campuses will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2024, due to the high potential for inclement weather. All school events, extracurricular activities, and facility rentals will also be canceled on Thursday, Jan. 9. Please remember that Friday, Jan. 10 is a Student Holiday. A decision regarding all other operations and school activities on Friday will be made at a later time. We will send additional information as soon as possible. Stay warm and safe!
