WE PROUDLY PRESENT THE 4th ANNUAL YOUNG ELEMENTARY’S 4th GRADE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE!!! 🎈🎈🎈
🦃 Students read Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet and learned about the origin of the balloons in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
🦃 Students then worked with a partner to design, create and manipulate their own balloon for our parade.
🦃 Students also wrote their own commentary to be read as their balloons paraded along Broadway!

Tonight, our incredible 5th graders honored those who have served or are currently serving in our military with a special program. Their performance and artwork were a heartfelt tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of our veterans.
