The Garden Club (Pre-K through 2nd grade group) met yesterday and learned all about the parts of a seed and the parts of a plant. The first of many Gardening Club meetings was a huge success and these kiddos are looking forward to more after-school gardening FUN! #bethesunshine

Young Elementary students in 2nd-5th grades created "pop up" Valentines' Day cards during Art for local nursing home residents. The cards were delivered around town yesterday by Ms. Hughes and her helpers! Thank you, Young students, for being the sunshine! #bethesunshine

This morning the fire alarm system was activated due to an electrical short caused by a roof leak. Students were evacuated, the fire department cleared the building and students have returned to class.
